For the 3rd year in a row we went up to the mountains a la Clark W. Griswold and cut down our own Christmas tree. Luckily Mike always remembers the saw so we've never had to bring it home roots and all. It was really fun this year we didn't go as high up as we normally do so we didn't get any square ice cream this year but it was still so much fun to go with our little family. Kaylee made the hike with Mike and picked out our little Christmas Tree. She had so much fun hiking with Daddy. Lidders fell asleep on the way up and I stayed near the van with her. She woke up while Kaylee and Mike were getting the tree and wandered around in the snow. Kaylee loves the tree that she picked out with Dad. :) It is such a fun tradition that we will for sure keep up.
Lidds was not a fan of sledding.
